To provide education and public awareness to reduce the fire dangers 

to the citizens on the north shore of Lake Travis, about 20 miles northwest of Austin Texas 

The Simtable demonstrates the use of wildland fire modeling projected onto a sand table. Simtable develops agent-based modeling frameworks for exploring and visualizing  complex scenarios. (See Video tab)

Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. The North Shore Travis Firewise Group serving Lago Vista, Jonestown, Point Venture and Waterford POA since 2011.
